Ingredients

  • 2 bottles rosé wine chilled and preferably frozen overnight
  • 1 cup mixed berries fresh or frozen
  • 1 cup ice cubes to help achieve slushy texture
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar optional, adjust to taste

Equipment

  • Freezer
  • Blender

Method

  1. Pour the chilled rosé wine into a large freezer-safe container and freeze overnight until solid or sufficiently frozen.
  2. Let the frozen rosé sit at room temperature for a few minutes to slightly soften, making it easier to blend.
  3. Add the frozen rosé, berries, ice cubes, and optional sugar into a blender.
  4. Blend on high speed until the mixture is smooth, thick, and slushy, with no large chunks remaining. This may take about 30-60 seconds.
  5. Stop the blender and taste the mixture, adding more sugar if desired, then blend briefly again to incorporate.
  6. Pour the frosé into chilled glasses or cups, garnishing with a berry or a sprig of mint for visual appeal.

Notes

For a more colorful presentation, include additional fruit or edible flowers. Adjust the sweetness by adding more sugar or a splash of citrus juice. Serve immediately for the best icy, slushy texture.
