Ingredients

  • 2 head cauliflower fresh, trimmed
  • 10 black black olives pitted, sliced for eyes
  • 1 cup mixed colorful vegetables carrot sticks, bell pepper slices, radish slices
  • optional yogurt or cream cheese to help fix eyes if they fall off

Equipment

  • Knife
  • Cutting board

Method

  1. Carefully trim the cauliflower heads, removing excess leaves and trimming the stems slightly to make them stand upright.
  2. Arrange the cauliflower heads on a serving platter, spacing them out evenly to mimic ghostly figures.
  3. Slice black olives into small rounds to create eyes for each cauliflower, and gently press them onto the front of the cauliflower to form spooky faces.
  4. Use colorful vegetable sticks—carrots, bell peppers, radishes—to add extra decoration around the cauliflower or to create playful accents and borders.
  5. If any eyes or decorations fall off, use a small dab of yogurt or cream cheese as glue to reattach them securely.
  6. Once assembled, serve the platter immediately to keep the vegetables crisp and colorful.

Notes

For extra spooky effect, consider adding small paper ghost cutouts or lanterns nearby. Keep cauliflower stems straight to help maintain upright shape. Use extra vegetables to fill in gaps and enhance the fun look.
