Method

  3. Shape the cheese mixture into a compact round ball using your hands or a spatula, then wrap it tightly in plastic wrap. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
  4. Once chilled, transfer the cheese ball onto a serving platter and gently roll it in crushed puffed rice or pretzels to create a crunchy exterior resembling a web or cocoon.
  5. Arrange broken pretzels or breadsticks on top of the cheese ball to resemble spider legs, inserting them partially into the cheese to secure them.
  6. If desired, add small edible eyes or black olives to the front of the cheese ball to create a spooky spider face.
